In 2023 we are hosting our inaugural conference themed Building on the Foundation of Lived Experience. Refugee communities will come together with various stakeholders to begin a continuing conversation, share knowledge and advance the capacity of people with lived experiences to join with RCAA in achieving our vision.
The conference provides RCAA the opportunity to develop the capacity and amplify the voices of our communities and also focus on the lived experiences of communities across Australia. It will also allow us to engage with our partners to understand and align our shared objectives by co-designing, co-delivering and jointly evaluating for the benefit of all.
The conference will be held on Wurundjeri Country in Melbourne, and we invite delegates including multicultural communities, refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, governments, settlement services and businesses from across Australia and internationally to register and join us at this significant event.
We are proud to have the deep support of our partners and the enthusiastic participation of communities from across Australia which has been critical in allowing us to begin this vital conversation.
The conference program will span 2 days and will be complimented by a Gala Dinner on 20th September.
